OUR MISSION
At Barb City Manor, we are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and affordable living environment for individuals aged 62 and older. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our residents by fostering community engagement, recreational activities, and access to essential resources that promote independence, dignity, and well-being. We bridge the gap between living alone at home and residing in an institutionalized long-term care facility, offering a welcoming space that truly feels like home.
Located just six blocks from downtown DeKalb, Illinois, Barb City Manor is housed in the historic Joseph F. Glidden and Jacob F. Haish hospital. Our well-maintained lawns, mature trees, and beautiful flowers create a peaceful, residential atmosphere.
We are proud to offer exceptional amenities designed to support an active and fulfilling lifestyle:
At Barb City Manor, we believe in creating a vibrant, connected community where seniors can enjoy their independence with the support they need.
