Since 1979, Barb City Manor has been a 501(c)3 not-for-profit retirement community. Through the generous support of our donors, we can provide safe, comfortable independent living for all people 62 and older. By donating to our Barb City Manor Project Fund or Resident Assistance Fund, your support will help us continue our mission to serve seniors in our community.

The building will be re-lit for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and also New Year's Eve and New Years Night. As of 1/2/25 we are back on the mission to make it glow again. Every $10,500.00 we raise on our way to $250,000.00 will spark another strand of lights.
Helping Barb City Manor get lit is easy! Getting the word out about our mission is our biggest hurdle. You can help by sharing our FaceBook & Instagram posts with your friends and families on social media. Large groups donating small amounts can make miracles happen! If 12% of DeKalb County donated $20.00 we'll hit our goal!
