Since 1979, Barb City Manor has been a 501(c)3 not-for-profit retirement community. Through the generous support of our donors, we can provide safe, comfortable independent living for all people 62 and older. Our staff is the BEST!!!There so, so many unique things about life at Barb City Manor and one of the most significant is our staff. Day after day we see them go above and beyond the traditional "independent living" guidelines to ensure our residents well being is secure.
The best best part........they ENJOY IT!!!!
"I love working at Barb City Manor. It is not just a job to me.
When I leave work each afternoon, I know that I’ve made a difference in the
lives of the residents who live here. The staff is compassionate, caring and
truly care about our resident’s welfare.
There’s always something fun going on, and getting to know our wonderful
residents on a personal level has truly been a blessing."

"We love being able to work with the residents one on one, getting to know them and hear their hilarious stories. They keep us laughing every day which makes work fun. The residents become our family very quickly. It's a great feeling leaving work each day know you made someone's day just a little better".
